It's the poster that has been firing up women on all sides of politics. Created by Australian artist Carol Porter, this artwork was commissioned by the Victorian Women's Trust in 1997, reprinted with permission from the State Library of Victoria.
In recent years, this poster has been seen in the halls of Parliament and in the media, becoming a battle cry for women in politics who challenge the status quo. (Side note: do yourself a favour and Google: Don’t Get Mad, Get Elected! + Cathy McGowan + Rebekha Sharkie. It’s a delight.)
